If you like amazing vacations with a lot of adventure, scenery, wildlife, and water than Alaska is the place for you! A few years ago, my family and I embarked on one of the most fun and entertaining trips of my life. We decided to take a cruise to Alaska, although our first thoughts were Why Alaska?? This mood quickly changed on arrival and it turned out to be one of the most amazing trips we have ever taken! Our cruise started in Vancouver, as we headed on to the boat to embark on an amazing trip. With each stop we made, came a new challenge and adventure. From white water rafting to biking and hiking this trip will always keep you on your toes. Excitement is around each and every corner when you are in Alaska.

Ketchikan, Alaska: One of my favorite stops on our trip to Alaska we decided to go to a lumberjack show. Although it was raining out this did not put a damper on our vacation and the show was amazing. Aside from the lumberjack show, Ketchikan is a beautiful small town in Alaska that looks like an old western gold mining town. With beautiful store fronts and shopping Ketchikan is a great destination on your trip to Alaska.

Juneau, Alaska: The Capital City of Alaska and it is beautiful. As it is not easily accessible by car, Juneau is the perfect place to check out while on a cruise because most cruise ships stop in Juneau.

The Alaskan Railroad: Hopping on board the Alaskan Railroad is a journey of its own. Checking out the amazing scenery while speeding away on a railroad is a site to see. Wildlife galore along with towering mountains and glaciers this is an amazing adventure.
